Funeral services for Robert Thomas Hope, 59, of Ekalaka, will be held Friday…Mr. Hope died unexpectedly at his home Monday. He was born April 23, 1913, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hope. He came to Montana with his sister in 1921. He enlisted in the Army in 1942 at Missoula and was discharged in 1945 at Camp McCoy, WI. He had lived and worked in the Ekalaka area and worked as a farmhand there most of his life. Mr. Hope was Commander of the American Legion, Carter Post No. 60 at Ekalaka. He is survived by two daughters, including Mrs. Julia Kranlich, Miles City; two sons; one brother, Temple Hope, Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Mrs. G. W. Hughes, Kansas City, MO; and two grandchildren.
