There is some ambiguity in her maiden name. In some records it is listed as Shapiro, and in some it is Cooper. Given that she was the second wife of Judah Louis Tow, it is possible that she was married to a Cooper first. The Hebrew/Yiddish on the tombstone translates to "Tzine, daughter of Moshe". After Judah Louis Tow died in 1922, she married Kalman Cohen. The death record lists her father as Moses Shapiro.
