Linda was born December 28, 1946 in Connersville to Robert & Ruby I. (Riley) Medd. She was a 1965 graduate of New Salem High School.
She married Dennis E. Mahan on April 18, 1964. Denny passed away on November 16, 2013.
Linda retired in 2015 after several years with the Rush County SWCD where she worked as an Administrative Assistant.
She served as Treasurer to the Orange Cemetery many years and was active in the DAR, the Rush County Historical Society and the Rush County Genealogy Society.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa E. Mahan (Gloria Crowell) of Trafalgar and sons, Bradley S. Mahan of N. Augusta, S.C. and Robert "Marty" Mahan of Glenwood, a brother, Terrell (Phyllis) Medd of Connersville, grandchildren, Shaely Williams, Harlee Smith, Reid Crowell and Riley Mahan and great granddaughters, Raegen Cummings, McKinley Mahan and Sophia Smith.
A time of visiting will be held from 2-5 PM Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville.
Private burial will be held in the Orange Cemetery.
