Chief Master Sargent, Daniel M. Ray, United States Air Force (Retired) 88, of Webster, FL. Married 60 years to JoAnn Merritt Ray.Daniel M. Ray passed away Friday, August 4, 2017, after a distinguished career which included 30 years in the military and working as a carpenter until his 80’s.
He served not only his country but his community as a member of the Webster Civic Club, a board member of the Webster Library Association along with many years of volunteering with the local baseball leagues. “I enjoy working” was what he always said. He was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn and grandson James.
He is survived by his four sons: Daniel Gary, Cecil Allen, Jeffery Dean, and Kenneth David along with eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
