Thomas E. Cain, age 86 of Saratoga, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at his home in Saratoga. Mr. Cain was born on May 11, 1931 in Hazlehurst, Georgia to Ernest and Alma Carter Cain.

He is a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, serving four tours in Vietnam and was a member of the Columbus Baptist Church in Columbus, Arkansas. He is a recipient of the following awards during his time in the Army: Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 DVC, Four Overseas Bars, Expert (45 Caliber Pistol), Good Conduct Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. Mr. Cain was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, six children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Visitation, 4:00 to 6:00pm on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, AR.

Graveside service, 11:30am on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Dallas-Ft.Worth National Cemetery with full military honors.
