Robert Noel Cheeney, son of Austin and Flaud Axis (Washburn) Cheeney, was born in Princeton, Mo., on Jan 1, 1939, and [assed away on Aug 31, 1990, at the Twn Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville, Mo., at the age of 51 years.

Mr Cheeney was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jimmie, Lawrence , and Franklin Cheeney; two infant sisters, and his sister, Mary Ellen Alley; and by two grandsons, Adam Dale and Joshua Lee Whisler.'

He is survived by his three daughters, Beulah Manchester, of Milan, Mo., Sarah Madison of Newton, Iowa, and Dianna Kaster, of Carlisle, Iowa; one sister, Georgia Cheeney, of Princeton; two brothers, Jed Cheeney, of Humansville, Mo., and Fred Cheeney, of Milan, Mo.; and by his four grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Sept 4, 1990, at 1 pm at the Princeton Cemetery with the Rev Leland Heriford officiating, under the direction of the Greelee-Middleton Funeral Service of Princeton.
