Earl Blackman Crumpler,Sr. 80 passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Bethesda Healthcare in Eastover.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, officiating will be Rev. Mike Elliott. Burial will follow at Autry-McAlphin Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Muncy Blackman Crumpler and Pearl Hudson Crumpler; grandson, Jonathan Crumpler and brothers, Charles W. Crumpler and Richard D. Crumpler.
He retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
He is survived by his son, Earl "Little Earl" Blackman Crumpler, Jr. & wife, Mary Ann; granddaughter, Bonnie Crumpler; great grandchildren, Holden, Hayden and Allie; sisters, Hazel Crumpler McMillan and Joyce Crump; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, August 11, 2017 at the funeral home and at other times at 910 Wade Stedman Road, Stedman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 7536 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
