Josephine E. Karpinski Drupieski, 92, of Natrona, Harrison, died Wednesday (Dec. 1, 2004) in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, Harrison.

Born March 19, 1912, in Natrona, she lived in the community all of her life.

Mrs. Drupieski was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish and the Polish Roman Catholic Union, both in Natrona.

She enjoyed cooking and crocheting.

Surviving her are a sister, Stella Manchini of Natrona, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Nitoski, in 1958; her second husband, Bernard M. Drupieski, in 1996; a daughter, Joan Vana; her parents, Casmier and Felixa Jankowski Karpinski; two brothers, Steve and Ignatius Karpinski; and two sisters, Helen Karpinski and Catherine Klemzak.

Family and friends will be received from 9 a.m. Friday until prayers of transfer at 10:30 a.m. at the AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 2 Pine St., Natrona. Christian Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church, Spruce Street, Natrona, with her pastor, the Rev. Richard J. Tusky, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
