Mr. Bowlin was a World War II veteran, and served in the US Army Air Corps. While stationed at Mount Farm, England he married Iris Winifred Barrett at Marsh Baldon, Oxfordshire, on February 3, 1945.
Mr. Bowlin is survived by his daughters, Patsy (Paul) Mikelonis of Clifton, Arizona; Kay (Larry) Rowe of Durango, Colorado; and son, Barrie, of Austin, Texas; his sister, Mary Lightfoot, of Midland, Texas; special friend, Marjorie Cooper, of Odessa, Texas; along with eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, a daughter, Pamela Sue, his brother, Glen, sister, Fay Hamilton, grandson, Tony Repola, and nephews, Jeff Lightfoot and Tim Hamilton.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
