Charles Hill Lawrence, 69, of Paris died Friday November 18, 1994 at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services were held Tuesday November 22. Burial was in Mesquite City Cemetery by Anderson-Clayton Brothers Funeral Home of Mesquite.
Mr. Lawrence was born January 25, 1925. He served in the 27th Infantry Band of the New York National Guard during World War II and retired as a Texas game warden in 1985. He served as game warden in Lamar county from 1960 until retiring. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Paris and was a 32nd degree Mason.
Surviving are his wife, Jessie; two sons, Tony Lawrence and David Lawrence; a sister, Hope Lawrence Sheppard; three aunts, Peggy Summers, Opal Lawrence, and Onyx Summers; five grandchildren, Kimberly, Kelly, Kyle, Kenneth and Kristi.
