Mrs. Hazel Whitehead Wade, 84, of Henderson, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Autumn Leaves. She was born March 2, 1933 in the Hickey community by Dr. Boswell, to the late E.W. and Cleotic Whitehead, and had lived all her life in Rusk County. She was retired from working for the Henderson Independent School District. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was involved with the choir for over 40 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wade; and sister, Margaret Douglas, brother, Laverne Whitehead, sister, Katherine Cates, sister, Annie Marie Ross, brother, Buddy Whitehead, sister, Opal Christine Thorn, sister, Glady Jane Capps, and brother, James Whitehead.
