Obit for Pat Roth:

Edith Patricia "Pat" Roth, 88, died peacefully while under the care of JourneyCare Hospice on May 13, 2017, exactly thirteen years after her husband Bud Roth passed on May 13, 2004.
She was born in 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of Edith McIntosh and John V. Brooks. Some of her fondest memories were of time she spent attending school at Ward Belmont in Nashville, Tennessee.
She married Alfred H. (Bud) Roth Jr of Chicago on September 17, 1952 and they shared 51 years of marriage, most of those years in Holiday Hills, Illinois. Her most recent residence was at Lake Barington Woods.
She loved meeting new people and sharing her life experiences with others and corresponding with many special life-long friends. She also greatly enjoyed tending her orchids and spending time with her beloved Dachshund, Ralph. She leaves behind one son, Kurt (Lisa) of Hillsboro, Oregon and several nieces and nephew; Dick (Betty), Sandy, Barb, Nancy and Jill. At her request, no formal services will be held, just a private remembrance by Famiily members. Arrangements by the Cremation Society of Illinois. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made in her name to JourneyCare, 405 N Lake Zurich Rd, Barrington, IL 60010 or https://journeycare.org
