Mrs Abe King
Mrs Abe L. King, 1115 Bloomfield, died at 6 Friday night in a nursing home in Jackson.
Mrs. King the former Miss Stella Evelyn Trickey, 85 years old, was born May 2, 1882 in New Wells. She attended schools at New Wells and was married Dec. 17, 1910 to Mr. King who survives her. In 1917 the couple moved to Cape Girardeau.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. King is survived by two sons, J. D. King, O'Fallon, and Roscoe King, Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Theodore Trickey, St. Charles, Emmett Trickey and Irl Trickey, both of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Mrs. Eunice Freeman, Cape Girardeau: five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 Sunday afternoon at the Brinkopf and Howell Funeral Home, conducted by Capt. Ralph Spicer of the Salvation Army. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Joe King, Wilmer King, Anthony Dozier, Danny Farmer, Uhl Trickey and Jack Trickey.
