She was 88.Born in Macon, Ga., on Oct. 8, 1914, she came to Winter Haven three years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mable White Baptist Church in Macon.Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Davis. She is survived by her son, H. Wayne Davis, Winter Haven; daughter, Janita Hortman, Macon; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.Visitation will be today at Crestlawn Funeral Home in Macon. Services will be Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park, Macon. Steele's Family Funeral Services, Winter Haven.
