Stunned By Lightning
Grand Saline (TX), May 9 –
Little hope was held for the recovery of Claude Adkins, 42, who with his three children last night was stunned by lightning as they left a cellar where they had sought refuge from a storm.
The children were less seriously injured.
The strong cloud was accompanied by a strong wind and heavy rain. Trees were uprooted where a small twister struck near the town.
