Eva C. "Sandy" Barber, age 62, of Williamstown, Kentucky, formerly of Butler, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Saint Elizabeth Hospice, in Edgewood, Kentucky. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 4, 1955, a daughter of the late Thomas and Erma Johnson Adams.
Eva is survived by: her lifelong partner, Paul Owens; four children, Bobbie Smith Oakes, Amanda Barber, Melissa Bouh and James Barber; seven siblings, Stella Richardson, Florence Roberts, Velma Johnson, Brenda Teegarden, Ethel Morris, Thomas Adams and James Bodie Adams; four grandchildren, Victoria Nickel, Joshua Whitis, Christian Whitis and Andrew Whitis; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Sandy's final resting place will be in Riverside Cemetery, in Falmouth, Kentucky. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the Lymphoma Society, 4370 Glendale Milford Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.
