He lived most of his life in Omaha and Lincoln.
Arthur served his country in the United States Marine Corp.
Married 46 years to Neola Lucille Read.
He was a member of the LaVista Old Timers Band, playing kazoo and other noise makers. He loved to sing old songs and perform for retirement centers.
He led the adult Bible Study at his church for many years.
His passion, in his own words, was that "many would put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and receive eternal life."
