ST. ALBANS – Mark D. Dunlop, 60, passed away August 3, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones. He battled cancer for just a few months before it took his life.

He was born October 3, 1956 in Lewiston, a son of William Dexter Dunlop and Patricia Currier Moulton of Greene. Mark joined the U. S. Coast Guard out of high school and later moved his family to Plymouth. He was a longtime employee at General Electric in Bangor. He had a love of motorcycles, tattoos, family and friends.

Mark is survived by his partner of 20 years, Judy Rezendes of St. Albans; 5 loving children, Mark of Plymouth, Angelina and husband Jason Gaudet of Newport, Patricia Babcock and Katie Dunlop, both of Levant, Christopher Dunlop and wife Amy Reid of Belmont. He was “beeper” (grandfather) to Chelsey Dunlop of Glenburn, Shea-Lee and Spencer Gaudet of Newport, and Dakota St. Louis of Levant. He was a great grandfather to Treven Gould of Glenburn. Mark was 1 of 7 children: Donna and husband Richard Thompson of Chicopee, MA, Scott Dunlop of Lucedale, MS, James and wife Kathryn Moulton of Stow, MA, Todd and wife Ruth Moulton of Readfield; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He leaves behind his beloved pet Chloe, who thought the world of him.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 2 brothers, William Dunlop, III of Mechanic Falls, and Dexter Dunlop of Greenville, SC.

There will be no graveside service as he wishes his ashes to be spread at sea by the U. S. Coast Guard. (Crosby & Neal, Newport)
