Mr. Hoyt Edward Best, age 86 of Tazewell, TN., was born May 28, 1931 and passed away August 2, 2017.
He was the son of the late Nora (Orr) and Christopher Best.
Hoyt worked and retired from General Motors Ypsilanti, Michigan plant after 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his:

Son: Jimmy Wayne Best
Brothers: Clifford Best, Clyde Best, Leo Best
He is survived by his:
Children: Johnny Best of Carlton, MI., Terry Best of Flat Rock, MI., Rebecca Lee of Tazewell, TN, Jeff Best of Tazewell, TN, 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Herman Daniels and wife Cecil May of Pathfork, KY ., Caroline and the late Jerry Carby of Macon, GA., Kathleen and the late Harold Clark of Turner Falls, MA., Barbara Jean and the late David Johnson of Sweetwater, TN., Betty Birnham and husband David of Harrisville, MI. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6PM until 8PM at the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 10AM Saturday, August 5, 2017 in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Van Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the England Cemetery.
