“Henry Clay Williams, age 33 years, 5 months, was born January 10th, 1894 near Chillicothe, the son of James and Kate Williams. He died at the General Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., July 4th.

He was united in marriage in 1913 to Mabel Johnson of Chillicothe. To this union were born 2 children, one having died at the age of 6 years.

He was later married to Mrs. Sylvia Morris of this place in 1923. To this union were born 2 children, one having died in infancy. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sylvia Williams; two daughters, Goldie, age 11 years, and Lavonda, age 2 years; one step-daughter, Viona Chrisman, age 13 years; his father, James Williams of Sampsel; and two brothers, Russell Williams of Sampsel and Walter Williams of Sterling, Colorado.

He was converted in the Pentecostal church in Kansas City in 1924 and since that time had been a devoted Christian, never having lost sight of the God he loved.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. B. Alsbury. Interment in Utica Cemetery.” The Daily Constitution, July 7, 1927
