RICHARD CORSARO

Richard Corsaro, 87, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in Beechwood Health Care Facility, Getzville, NY.
Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Trunzo) Corsaro.
Richard was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School and served in the United States Army National Guard from 1948-1956.
He married Mary Jane (Montanari) Corsaro on April 14, 1951 in St. Joseph's Church. Mrs. Corsaro predeceased him on April 9, 2016.
Mr. Corsaro was employed with Schrack Oil Company in Niagara Falls as a service manager. He adored his grandchildren and served as a volunteer at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Artpark Theater, Shea's Theater, and was a longtime parishioner and usher at St. Peter's Church in Lewiston.
Richard is survived by three sons, Richard R. (Christine L.) Corsaro , Gary J. (Dawn M.) Corsaro and Robert J. (Lori S.) Corsaro; his grandchildren, Richard C. (Adina) Corsaro, Danielle L. (Francis) Nugent, Gary J. Corsaro, Jr., Ryan K. (Megan L.) Corsaro, Robert Corsaro, Jr. Amber (Adam) Walck, Alisha (Nicole) Mulholland, Devon Strasburg and Nicole Corsaro; his great-grandchildren, Lillian D. and Sophia M. Corsaro, James F., Ryan R., Emma J. and Katie L. Nugent, Chloe L. and Ava L. Corsaro, Robert J. III, Abigail J., Adrianna and Maria Corsaro, Brody M. Walck; one sister, Marie (late Leo) Witkowski; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also predeceased by one brother, Frank (Mary) Corsaro; and one sister, Marlene (late Ed) Gorzka.
Mr. Corsaro's family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the amazing staff at Beechwood Health Care Facility for their compassion and care.
Visitation will be held Friday from 4-8 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 5th at 10 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.
Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
