PRENTISS - Rev. Thomas H. Glover entered Heaven's gate on August 1, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 18, 1933, in Sommersville, PA, the son of Cyrus and Ida (Van Syckle) Glover.
Tom was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a very faithful, kind gentleman who loved his church family. He dedicated his life to pastoring churches in Prince Edward Island and more than 40 years in Prentiss. Tom was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by his daughter Diane and Rodney Noyes; a sister, Janet Rush, of Akron, Ohio; his grandchildren, Tori and Tiffany Bain, Matthew, Jason, Zakary, TJ and Kennedy Noyes, Michelle and Matthew Glover and Beverly Clark; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Delores Glover; his son, Stephen Glover; four brothers; and one sister.
Friends may visit from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 3, at the Prentiss Church of God, Park St., Prentiss, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 4, at which time a memorial for his son, Stephen, will also be held, with the Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Interment will be in Butterfield Cemetery, Prentiss. Online condolences may be expressed at www.clayfuneralhome.com.
