CHEATHAM Mildred Alley Cheatham, 89, of Chesterfield, died Wednesday, December 13, 2000 at John Randolph Medical Center, Hopewell. Mrs. Cheatham was the daughter of the late Charles and Bessie Alley . She was preceded in death by her husband, Drewry I. Cheatham Jr. She was a member of Chester Baptist Church and a former Miss Petersburg. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dic and Irene Cheatham of Gwynn's Island, and Robert and Carlene Cheatham of Chester; a brother, Bill Alleyand his family of Florida. There will be a funeral service Friday, December 15, at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, with the Reverend Edward Stansfield officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 14, 2000 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chester Baptist Church, 4317 W. School St., Chester, 23831.
