J.H. grew up and lived most of his life in Wetumka, Hughes County, Oklahoma., He had three sisters Alice./Sue Ella.& Catherine.And four brothers Earl Clifton./Carl Dale./Jimmy Don.& William.
His father George was born May 18, 1888 in Harrison, Carroll County, Arkansas and died November 23, 1949 in Wetumka, Hughes County, Oklahoma.
His mother Maggie was born June 22, 1897 in Tunnell Hill, Johnson County, Illinois. she was killed when the car she was riding in was hit by a train November 13, 1948 between Wetumka & Weleetka, Oklahoma., Also her oldest son Earl Clifton was also killed in the accident.
I remember the accident I was seven at the time and the entire family took it real hard especially Uncle George.∼Married 1956 in Illinois Martha Sprouse
