George E. Biddix

George Edward Biddix, 609 Rhyne Cr., Ranlo, died Monday at 9:30 a.m. in a local hospital.

Born May 21, 1903, Mrs. (sic) was a local resident for 45 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ollie Mae Jones Biddix; three sons, Boyd J. Biddix of El Paso, Texas, and Johnny H. and Eugene Edward Biddix of he home; five daughters, Mrs. Virginia Yawn of Clayton, Mrs. Joan Morgan of Lowell and Misses Glenda, Betty Sue and Helen Elaine Biddix of the home; three brothers, Fred T. Biddix of Salisbury, Steve W. Biddix of Atlanta, Ga. and Wylie B. Biddix of Oak Ridge, Tenn; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Hutchinson of Spartanburg, S.C.; and fifteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Lowell Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. L. D. Gray officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.

The body will be taken to the home Wednesday between 10 and 11 a.m. Carothers Funeral Home made the arrangements.
