He was born April 16, 1934 at Harrisonburg, Virginia and was the son of the late Ashby Nesselrodt and Evelyn Simmons Nesselrodt.
A 1952 Franklin High School graduate, he was an industrial electrician and had worked for Monongahela Power, West Virginia Division of Highways and was a farmer. He was a member of the Harper’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
On February 26, 1954, he married Thelma Samples Nesselrodt, who survives at Pendleton Manor in Franklin.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin where Pastor Andre Crummett will conduct a funeral service at 2:00 PM Tuesday.
Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
