Near McIntosh, March 29, 1897, of whooping cough, Launa, daughter of Theordore E. and Ida M. COX, aged 10 months, and 8 days.
The funeral was held at the family residence, the sermon being preached by Rev. B.F. DICE, pastor of the Methodist church, of this city, and the remains laid at rest in the old Union cemetery, one and a quarter miles southeast of this city.
The sympathy of the friends and neighbors was attested by the large concourse that attended the funeral.
