Violet N. Kilgore, 96, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2007, with her daughter and son-in-law at her side. Shew was born November 19, 1910 to Henry and Effie Neef in Pardeeville Wisconsin. She graduated from nurses training at Evangelical Deaconess Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 1933. On May 4, 1944, she married the love of her life, Herbert H. Kilgore, M.D. and they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. Violet was a consummate giver, best friend, cherished wife and mother. She most loved entertaining and helping out those in need. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, Gilman Neef. Her survivors include her daughter, Mary (Pat) Vallad; her sister, Mildred Baillies; her nephews, Ronald Kilgore and Judd and Gale Neef; and her nieces, Jo Ellen Spear and Sharon Gibney. Services will be held at Faith Presbyterian Church in Sun City.
