Oneta Agnes Purvis, 91, of Jackson, Ga., and formerly of Ellenton, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Westbury Jackson Care Home in Jackson, Ga.
Born August 23, 1923, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lester Canady and Mattie Belle Harrell Canady.
She was a homemaker, a former beautician, and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-two years, Woodrow Wilson Purvis; five brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include four children
