Clyde A. Berwager, 86, died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at the Brethren Home Community. He was the husband of Millie J. (Kroft) Berwager, who died November 22, 2002. He was born September 14, 1923, in Maryland, the son of the late Clark C.E. and Helen S. (Sowers) Berwager. He attended St. John's U.C.C. in New Chester. Clyde is survived by two daughters, Shirley Railing and her husband, Harry of Defiance, Ohio, and Nadine Shaner and her husband, Dean of McSherrystown; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Berwager of New Oxford, and Fred Berwager and his wife, Joan of McSherrystown; and four sisters, Evelyn Stevens of York Springs, Susan Hoover and her husband, David of Gardners, Phyllis Fuhrman of Hanover, and Carol Hough and her husband, Stuart of New Oxford. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kelly Railing, and a brother, Harry Berwager.
