Lois Blair, age 94 of Van Lear, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 in Lagro, Indiana.
Born December 23, 1929 in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Red Lynn and Angie Webb Lynn. In addition to her mother and father, Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Blair; one son, Ricky Blair; and one daughter; Brenda Blair; four brothers, Doolittle Lynn, Charles "Chic" Lynn, John Lynn and Jim Lynn; two sisters, Mary Sue and Marty; and five grandchildren.
She is survived by four sons, Tom Blair of Paintsville, Kentucky, Roger (Cathy) Blair of Van Lear, Kentucky, Gary Blair of Lagro, Indiana, and Tony (Sheila) Blair of Oil Springs, Kentucky; one daughter, Tama Johnson of Lagro, Indiana; one sister, Betty Chaplin of Wabash, Indiana; and one brother, Jack (Pat) Lynn of Wabash, Indiana. Twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, December 29, 2023 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home with Paul Wayne Browning officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 5:00pm to9:00pm Thursday and until the time of service on Friday.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
