Mary Hazel FAUNCE McVeigh, a former resident of Abell, died Jan. 28, 1988 in Port Charlotte, Fla. at the age of 62.
She was born in Abell on March 24, 1923, the daughter of Frank Henry Faunce & Pearl Elizabeth Brown Faunce.
She was the wife of the late Carl Franklin McVeigh and the mother of David R. McVeigh.
Other surviving family members include sisters Rebecca E. Gass, Marie A. Thompson, Mary Helen Gass, Mary Jo Bourgault, Nell H. Morris, Jean Wood, Christine Morgan, and Henry H Faunce.
Mrs. McVeigh was predeceased by a brother, Samuel Faunce. Another sister, Ruth Elizabeth Bieber, died Feb. 1
The viewing was held in the Mattingley Funeral Home Chapel on Jan. 31. Funeral services were held Feb. 1 in the Chapel. Interment was in Charles Memorial Gardens in Leonardtown.
Pallbearers for Mrs. McVeigh were Ben Bennett, Robbie Bennett, Francis L. Morgan, Walter Thomas Morris, Burch Wood and Roy Thompson.
