Adam T. Barchus, 32, of Republic, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Adam was born Aug. 14, 1984, in Findlay, to Allen Barchus of New Riegel and Nancy (Sexton) Sparkman of Cumberland, Maryland. He married April M. (Little) Sept. 11, 2009, in Tiffin, and she preceded him in death Aug. 5, 2015.

Survivors include his son, Austin Barchus of Republic; stepmother, Lori Barchus of New Riegel; stepfather, Ishmael Sparkman of Cumberland, Maryland; three brothers, Drew Sparkman of Budapest, Hungary, and Trevor Sparkman and Ian Sparkman, both of Cumberland, Maryland; and two sisters, Adrienne Barchus of Salem and Lacey Barchus of New Riegel.

Adam was the owner/operator of Buckeye Lawn Care. He enjoyed fishing and watching of Ohio State and Dallas Cowboys football. Most of all, Adam enjoyed spending time with his son, Austin, and his entire extended family.

Adam also was preceded in death by a brother, Alex Barchus.

Graveside services for Adam will begin at noon Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Farewell Retreat Cemetery, Republic
