Mrs. Mary Richter, a former resident of Washington County, was buried Saturday morning following services at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Mrs. Richter was 74 years of age and a resident of Natchitches, Louisiana. She was the wife of A.J. Richter who survives her death. Old timers will remember the Richters as operators of a brick-making yard on west Washington street some fifty years ago.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, A. Jack Richter, of California and a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Stoutlemeier of Louisiana.
Mrs. Louise Wolff, of Blair is a sister. Another sister, Mrs. Olga Micheels lives in Omaha and a brother, Gene Bolln lives in California.
Mrs. Richter was raised in the Ft. Calhoun area and she and her husband left about forty years ago.
Father William Shattuck conducted the services and burial was made in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.
