William C. Beikman, 87, of Brownstown, died at his home Sunday morning after an illness of six months, Mr. Beikman had been bedfast for two weeks.
He was born December 11, 1883, the son of William D. and Louise Stuckwisch Beikman, in Brownstown township.
Mr. Beikman was married June 18, 1906 in Brownstown to Lizzie Schurman, who survives.
A tinner and plumber, Mr. Beikman worked for the Brownstown Hardware Company for a period of 40 years. He was a member of the St. Peters Lutheran church in Brownstown.
Survivors in addition to the widow include: five sons, Herbert and Wilbert, of Brownstown, Raymond, Richard and Elmer, of Clarksville; one daughter, Mrs. Walter Sutton, of Freetown; one brother, John, of Brownstown; four sisters, Miss Elizabeth Beikman, Mrs. John Topie, Mrs. John Tape, and Mrs. John Otte, all of Brownstown.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Zabel Funeral home and at 2 o'clock from the St. Peters Lutheran Church, of Brownstown with the Rev. T. J. Herrmann, pastor, officiating.
Friends may call at any time at the funeral home.
