Lived 63 years in Rockford area. Married to the former Earlena Heskett in Rockford, May 9, 1942. Employed as a millwright by National Lock Co. 40 years, retiring in April 1979. Veteran of World War II, serving in the Army in the South Pacific. Member of Grace Lutheran Church. Graduate of Rockford High School.
Survivors include his wife, Earlena; three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Pamela) Lueck, Mrs. Russell (Deborah) Nimocks and Mrs. Thomas (Rebecca) Kohlhorst; a son, Scott; a sister, Mrs. Erland (Viola) Anderson; and six grandchildren.
