Ferman Woody, age 86, of Del Rio, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017.

He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Donie Woody, brother, Joe Woody, sister, Iva Jean Henderson, and son, Billy Ray Woody.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Esther Woody, daughter-in-law, Tammie Woody, daughter, Debra (Sammy) Turner, grandson, Billy Ray “BJ” (Marissa) Woody, Jr., great grandsons, Hunter and Abram Woody all of Del Rio, sisters, Erdean Ball and Mary Lou (Ralph) Epperson of Newport.

The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to Avalon Hospice and Mountain Health Clinic.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 6:00pm-7:00pm at Brown Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Bill Murr and Rev. Steve Blanchard officiating.
