BERTRAM C. ADAMS
VERNON - Bertram C. Adams, 67, a native of the Town of Vernon, where he resided all his life, died in the Oneida Main street Hospital, April 15, 1949. He had been a patient in the hospital several weeks.
Mr. Adams was born July 7, 1881, in Vernon a son of Charles and Ada Bates Adams. He was employed in farming, by the Dairymen's League and later at the Burton Livestock Exchange.
On June 18, 1910, he married Miss Dora Oliver, with the late Rev. E. C. Platner performing the ceremony. He was affiliated with the Oneida Lodge of Woodmen of the World..
Surviving besides his wife is one daughter, Mrs. Earl Drummond, New London; three sons, Kenneth, Munnsville; Clifford and Glenn of Vernon; two brothers, Floyd and Irving, both of Vernon, and several grandchildren.
The funeral will be form the Alger Funeral Home, this village, at 2 p.m. tomorrow, with the Rev. Leonard H. Bass officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
