Obituary

Marie M. Rouleau, 92, long time resident of Troy, died peacefully at Genesis Keene Center surrounded by her family on October 17th, 2013.

Mrs. Rouleau was born April 24,1921. She was the daughter of Edmund and Annie (Mills) Abare.

She married Joseph A. Rouleau in Baltimore, Maryland in 1942.

Mrs. Rouleau was a long time member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Troy. She was born, raised and lived in the same family home for 84 years. Mrs. Rouleau served as a Supervisor of the Checklist in Troy for 20 years. While at the Keene Center she enjoyed singing for the residents, especially family known songs (the Abare song).

Survivors include her children, Douglas Rouleau, and his wife Peg, Judith Shattler, Pam Filimonov, and Teresa Rouleau.

Mrs. Rouleau had eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

A son Freeman Rouleau died earlier. Mrs. Rouleau's five brothers, Harold, Raymond, Henry, Leo and Albert all died earlier.

A private graveside service will be held for Mrs. Rouleau at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, NH is assisting with the arrangements.
