LULU SLAUGHTER
VERNON CENTER - Mrs. Lulu B. Slaughter, widow of Earl slaughter, died yesterday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Finen, here.
She was born in Ilion, daughter of Sidney and Elizabeth Ackler. She taught in elementary schools in this area. Mr. Slaughter died in 1959. Mrs. Slaughter was a member of Vernon Center Methodist Church and Winona OES Chapter, Vernon.
Besides Mr. Finen, she leaves a sister, Mrs. Stella Robertson, Mohawk, and a brother, Alvin Ackler, Ilion.
The funeral will be tomorrow from the Alger Funeral Home, Vernon, with the Rev. Albert J. Webster, pastor of the Kenwood Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, officiating, Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vernon.
