He was the son of Robert Huff and Helen (Eldred) Huff. He served and retired from the United States Marine Corp which included duty in Viet Nam.

John married Joyce Huff on June 18, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had lived in this area over twenty years in Hollister then Kirbyville. John was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Branson.

He entered into rest on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the age of 78.

John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joyce Huff, two brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his son, David Oyanguren of Branson; brother, Eddie Huff of King, Wisconsin; and sister, Jean Schrader and husband Ron of Beloit, Wisconsin.

Memorial services will be Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Branson with Bishop Ryan Sorensen officiating. Cremation arrangements were by Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
