DESPONDENT MAN ENDS HIS OWN LIFE
Waterloo, Ia.-- James Hearn 75, despondent because of incurable illness took his life by shooting last evening at his home here.
He developed tuberculosis of the spine following a fall some years ago. Widow and two children survive.

THE HEARN FUNERAL
Funeral services for William James Hearn were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Hill & Fredericks chapel, 415 Harrison Street. Rev. Leroy Coffman officiated and Mrs. Paul Tornquist sang "There is No Light There" and "Abide With Me". Interment was made in Oakdale Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Fred Blythe, John L Haasch, Henry Swartz, Walter Gerde, Ferd Helkenn and Ed Birch.
