A gathering of friends and family will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring. Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home.
Ken was born in St. Cloud, MN, to Lawrence and Cyrilla (Finken) Nohner, and raised in Watkins. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War from 1964-1967 as an Electrician. Ken married Theresa Frank on September 19, 1970, in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, St. Nicholas, MN and they were blessed with three children. He worked as an Electrician at Cold Spring Granite for 45 years. Ken played softball for St. Nicholas for many years. He loved to travel, and collect historical books. Ken enjoyed nature, especially watching and feeding the birds. You could always find him at live music shows. Hen drove a hard bargain and will always be remembered for his sense of humor and the way he put others first. He was a member of Watkins VFW Post 5460, Independent Order of Foresters, and St. Boniface Parish.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; children, Steven Nohner, Deb (Corey) Reinhardt and their children, Carter, Mattea, Linnea; Jennifer (James) Unger and their children, Avery, Chloe, Ethan; siblings, Doris (Ellie) Kremer, Alice (Rich) Daak, Luann (Peter) Brynildson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
