Mary Frances (Hickey) Pyle 81yrs of Tyngsboro Ma died Friday May 16, 2003 at her home with family. A former Chelmsford resident for many years before moving to Florida then to Tyngsboro Ma in 1975. She was the wife of the late John H. Pyle who passed in 1988. She was born in Boston Ma. April 13, 1922 to beloved parents of the late Ralph J. & Mary E. Helen (Burgess) Hickey. She attended the following schools
St. Columbkille's in Brighton Ma. She studied art and sculpture at the University of Heidelberg in Germany the Vesper George School of Art and Harvard University Extension School. Mrs. Pyle joined the U.S. Women's Army Air Corps serving at the U.S. Constabulary Headquarters in Germany. As well as stateside. Prior to her retirement she was the directorate secretary in the AWACS at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford Ma.
She is survived by two sons John E.& Heather Pyle and Robert B. & Deborah Pyle. A daughter Marilyn (Pyle)(Stowe)Allen and her husband Christopher. Five grandchildren Corrie L. Pyle, Jessie L. Pyle, Robert H. Pyle, Jeffrey J. Pyle, Ashlyn Allen. Three brother Walter Hickey, Ralph Hickey, Robert Hickey. She was also the sister of the late Helen (June) (Hickey) Lombardi. And many nieces and nephews. To her family and friend she was one of a kind a great lady. Will be sadly missed by all.
