Obituary, New Albany Tribune, New Albany, Indiana, 10 Feb 1959, page 2, column 7, reads: Clarence Ashabranner – Clarence Ashabranner, 64, an employee of Utz Floral Company, died at 5:30 Monday in Floyd County Memorial Hospital. He lived at 1444 Slate Run Road. Survivors include three brothers, William H. and George Ashabranner, both of New Albany, and Charles Ashabranner, Richmond, Va., and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Ray, Scottsburg. The body will be at Dieckmann Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
