Frank was the son of Francis and Mary (Bonus) Ryan. Survived by his wife Cynthia Cope Ryan. He was the brother to Mary, Gerry and Patricia. He was the father to four children. Francis Jr., Alicia, Robert and William. He served his county in the Vietnam war. Worked for the United States Steel Corp for twenty five years. Was President and acting president for Local 5030 out of the Fairless Hills Pa plant.
