John William Gliem died at his home one mile east of Arrington at 9:40 this morning. He was 77 years old.
Mr. Gliem was born Mar. 3, 1861 and spent his entire life on the same farm place.
He was married to Emma Cory March 8, 1898. Two children, a boy and a girl were born to this union. The son died in infancy. He is survived by his wife and daughter, Mrs. Mary Dale of the home; and two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Gettler of Valley Falls, and Mrs. Eliza Miller of Muscotah. Two brothers and two sisters preceded in death.
Mr. Gliem was a member of the Christian Church in Larkinburg. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock at the Gliem home. Burial will be in Muscotah.
