Miss Faith Elaine Denning, 64 of Williston, OH, died Friday, May 11, 2001, in the Luther Home of Mercy, Williston, where she had been a resident for a total of 11 years. Faith Elaine was born in Kingsville, Texas on September 23, 1936, to James Pratt and Mildred Helen (Schabow) Denning. She had worked for Riverview Industries in Oak Harbor, OH for several years during the 1980's. She was an avid baseball fan who enjoyed following the Detroit Tigers and the Toledo Mudhens along with being a country and western music enthusiast.
Survivors include her mother, Mildred H. Denning of Toledo; sisters, Shirley A. (Elmer) Carrol of Perrysburg, OH, Betty L. (Carl) Kleinser, Northwood, OH and a host of nieces and nephews. Her father, James P. Denning, and sister, Jean Malewski preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2001, in the Chapel of the Luther Home of Mercy, Williston, OH. Visitation will be in the Chapel from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the Allen Township Cemetery, Williston. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be to the Luther Home of Mercy. Arrangements are being handled by the Robinson-Henn-Brossia Funeral Home, of Genoa, Ohio.
