HOUSTON - Ethel Yelton, a beauty shop owner and operator, died Tuesday at a Houston nursing home. She was 87.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
Mrs. Yelton was born in Oklahoma and lived in Fort Worth and Kennedale for many years.She was a member of the Elks Club.
Survivors: Two sons, John J. Roland of Houston and Edward Roland of Burleson; six brothers, Homer Pittman of Mineral Wells, Floyd Pittman of Grants Pass, Ore., Raphael Pittman of Tucson, Ariz., K.S. Pittman and Paul Pittman, both of Los Angeles, and Silas Pittman of Reno, Nev.; two sisters, Emily Ann Hill of Los Angeles and Evelyn White of Fort Worth; five grandchildren; and several
great-grandchildren.
