He was born February 19, 1947, in San Angelo, TX to the late Earl Edgar Jacoby and Norma Lee Jackson Jacoby. He served in the US Air Force and was retired from American Airlines Flight Simulator Department, where he worked for 35 years. "Jake" enjoyed fishing, birdwatching and traveling. He was a loving and devoted husband for 49 years. He had lived in Bullard for 12 years, moving from Euless.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Evelyn Jacoby of Bullard; two children, Debra "Debbi" Jacoby and partner, Kelly Paxton of Roanoke and Mark Earl Jacoby and wife, Tracy of Rockwall; four grandchildren Ericka Morgan Cutler Mills and husband, Cody of Mansfield, Keagan Jean, Kennedy Evelyn and Kenzie Lee Jacoby, all of Rockwall; one great-grandchild, Haddon Lee Mills of Mansfield; and other relatives, David and Veronica Grabner and family of Chatham, IL, Donna Hurt and family of South Carolina and Florida, John and Betsy Michel and family of Maypearl, and Theo and Cecil Cude and family of Ft.
